A perfect holiday destination for those who wish to enjoy the countryside but still be in a strategic position for visiting Northern Tuscany, either by car or by train, which is famous for its historical towns, natural and artistic treasures and the beaches along the Versilia coastline. Olive and cypress trees abound in this peaceful, typically Tuscan countryside. The area is also famous for its delicious gastronomical tradition. The Villa is located in the "Marzalla" on a sunny hillside 1 km from the historic center of Pescia. In the main body of the old villa in a panoramic position, there are three large apartments, each sleeping four to six people with the possibility of adding extra beds if required.

This large apartment measuring just over 1,000 square feet has two separate entrances, one from the back garden and the other on the first floor, which can be reached by means of an external staircase. It has a large, bright living room with panoramic view, a dining room, a kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom with  showers. If requested. The flat has a washing machine, WiFi and an outdoor area for dining or simply relaxing.

Swimmimg pool

The swimming pool (6x12 meters – salt water), which is surrounded by olive trees, is reserved for the guests.

Surroundings

Pescia is an attractive little town, located in a uniquely strategic position giving visitors access to many of the cultural, historical and natural attractions of the northern region of Tuscany. Collodi Park is within walking distance and amazing trekking and mountain bike routes offering breathtaking views connect Pescia with the Valdinievole and the Padule of Fucecchio. At 5km from the Villa there is an untouched area of beauty also known as the “Swiss pesciatina”, full of ancient castles and tiny picturesque villages. Other charming little town, such as Montecarlo, Uzzano, Buggiano and Montecatini, are no more than a 15-minute drive. The well-known Versilia beaches, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, are also conveniently located in the proximity of Pescia. Lucca is only 15 km away and besides the magnificent town, it is also possible to visit the wonderful renaissance Lucchesi Villas, or explore the Garfagnana area. Florence, Pisa and Siena are less than an hour’s drive from Pescia and they are also accessible by train. During the summer months, many music festivals take place in the area, for example, the famous Puccini festivalal of Torre del Lago. For those who enjoy shopping, numerous Designer Outlets are located in the area.
